Apply Now!Your OpportunityThe Associate IT Business Analyst,
Manufacturing role is responsible for developing strong working
relationships with key management in Manufacturing Operations and
Engineering and the users of technology solutions and systems. This
role collaborates with IT leaders to advocate for continuous
improvement and standardization across the organization. The
Associate IT Business Analyst, Manufacturing role serves as the
business' secondary contact for technology solutions and business
process/regulatory issues with technology components.The primary
responsibility of the Associate IT Business Analyst is to assist IT
Delivery Leads and Business Analysts in bridging the gap between
business users and our technical teams. This role will assist in
gathering and understanding business requirements, documenting
business and system process flows, and translating requirements to
functional specifications, testing, and implementation. The
Associate IT Business Analyst will help deliver process and
technology solutions supporting our enterprise
architecture.Responsibilities--Assists in the functional
configuration, modification, and testing tasks for the designated
systems. This is done in collaboration with IT Teams and our
Business Partners.Serves as a liaison between Manufacturing and
Engineering Teams, IT Plant Systems Team, and the rest of ITHelps
translate business needs into IT requirements for Manufacturing and
Engineering projects, Plant cost-saving initiatives, onboarding of
new acquisitions to Smithfield systems, requests for new technology
and network-connected equipment, system enhancements, and
upgradesAssists in the design, testing and implementation of
changes, enhancements, and upgrades to system(s).Reviews current
business processes to help determine where automation/improvements
will drive efficiency.Recommends innovative uses of existing
software functionality to reduce manual effort and maximize the
return on our investment in technology.Assist implementation teams
in deploying new systems and operational processes in support of
strategic business initiatives.Assist in the development of
detailed implementation and contingency plans and provide user and
management training before, during, and after system
deployments.Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture,
Infrastructure and Security teams to plan site infrastructure as
needed to accommodate new equipment, systems, and processes.Travel
to implementation sites, when appropriate, to assist in the on-site
deployment and training.Assist in prioritizing system issues and
troubleshoot systems to propose fixes as appropriate.Assist in
maintaining and enhancing systems as required to support changing
business and technical needs.Work with key users to troubleshoot
manufacturing applications and interfacesDevelop and maintain a
working knowledge of new technology and innovation in the
Manufacturing and Automation space.The above statements are

and problem-solving skills.Ability to develop positive
relationships when part of a dynamic and cross-functional
team.Motivated to achieve set goals and deadlines.Flexibility and
adaptability in a fast-paced, constantly changing
environment.Self-directed with effective analytical and

organizational skills required.Must be able to travel up to 20%,
