Visit us at www.HydroGreenGlobal.Com.THE ROLE: Accounts Payable/Cost AccountantWe are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Cost Accountant to join our team. You will accurately enter all vendor bills and apply them to Purchase Orders. Documents will be scanned and filed electronically. They will also be responsible for paying payables and ensuring our records agree with our vendors. This position is responsible for maintaining good working relationships with vendors, verifies financial records and transactions, and analyzes financial results. This position may be expanded to include other duties within our growing organization. Reports to the HydroGreen Accounting Manager.YOUR EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE INCLUDE:Bachelor's degree in the field of Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance4+ years of accounting experience. Accounts Payable experience a plusExperience working in a successful team environmentFamiliarity with Accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or other ERP systemsExperience reconciling Balance Sheet & Income Statement AccountsYOUR SKILLS INCLUDE:Responsible for the accuracy and entry of Accounts PayablePay all vendors and employee expenses within terms electronically and/or by mailWork with vendors to establish or expand credit linesDevelop and maintain good working relationships with our banksMonitor credit card transactions to make sure we remain below the established credit limitComplete any accounts payable accruals at month endVerify all recurring expenses are entered or accrued each monthReconcile the accounts payable aging report to the balance sheetAnswer vendor questions in a timely manner including those that arrive in AP emailWork with vendors to convert all checks to ACH/EFTComplete month end duties on time and accuratelySuggest ways to improve efficiency and spending through errors found in processesCreate and modify monthly reports for managers and accounting departmentAssist with providing information for tax audits and tax returnsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Programs such as Word, Excel, Microsoft TeamsComfort with a wide range of responsibilities including undertaking other initiatives and projects in response to changing business conditions and as directedThe ability to work well in a team, and independently as a self-starterPaying attention to details and ensure all tasks are completed correctlyExcellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication skillsAdditional duties as required for the accounting and finance functionWE WILL OFFER YOU:A supportive and fun work culture where we push ourselves and each other to achieve excellence.Reasonable accommodations for a person with a disability.A diverse and inclusive community.Satisfaction and pride knowing each day you are working hard to increase global food security.A robust benefits package:Health, life, dental, and vision insurance and a flexible spending account401(k) with matchingA generous voluntary share purchase plan with 100% employer matchingParental LeaveCellphone StipendTuition reimbursementPaid time off PAY: $75,000 DOE
