About the Role:

The Communications Specialist is responsible for leading the development of timely, honest, and engaging content for Pathward employees, the most important of our stakeholders. This role manages the communications hub to organize, streamline and deliver appropriate messaging internally serving as the operational command center to execute communications across a variety of platforms. This role will report to the SVP, ESG, Communications, and Brand.

In this role, you will support a broad range of communications activities, including managing the production of all-employee meetings, developing regular employee communications, designing, and updating intranet content, managing the online company calendar, and recommending new channels through which we can further connect with and listen to our employees.

This role requires a highly organized self-starter who can work independently and support cross-functional teams on a variety of initiatives to ensure that all messaging is consistent across internal and external channels.

What You Will Do:

• Collaborate with the broader communications team to coordinate internal communications efforts with external communications activity in mind.
• Manage communication tools and platforms for internal message delivery.
• Coordinate the semi-weekly, monthly, quarterly editorial programming calendar for sharing communications across the organization, updates company intranet home page with dynamic news content, videos, links, etc.
• Conceptualize internal communications campaigns to create business communications rhythms.
• Partner with internal stakeholders, such as the Banking as a Service, Commercial Finance, Community Impact, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, IT and People & Culture teams, to distribute informative and timely messaging to employees.
• Produce all-employee town halls.
• Serve as the final stop for editing, proofing, and designing final copies for distribution to ensure all digital communication is consistent and on brand.
• Focus on process improvement by bringing new ideas and tools to the table and sharing with team members.
• Review and analyze participation data (qualitative and quantitative) and employee feedback to identify insights and make recommendations to cross functional enterprise-wide communications team.
• Other duties as assigned.
  What You Will Need:
  
  • 3+ years of experience in communications or marketing
  • High attention to detail
  • A storyteller's orientation
  • Significant SharePoint experience
  • Ability to work through ambiguity
  • Experience with electronic publishing and the publication process
  • Experience with internal social media platforms
  • Preferred experience in project and program management
  • Preferred experience at fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Must be passionate about facilitating financial inclusion for all
  • Collaborative and creative mindset
