independentlyGeneral Position Summary:The Senior Accountant is a
vital member of the finance team, working to accomplish department
and company goals by completing departmental tasks using
established procedures and adding input to process and workflow
improvements. The role of the Senior Accountant is to prepare and
record, reconcile, analyze and report on both corporate and
settlement transactions. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will
maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating,
reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies in a timely

reading below---Primary ResponsibilitiesPrepare daily and monthly
cash and settlement reconciliation reports and communicate transfer
of funds to clients.Maintain company's general ledger. Prepare
and/or review journal entries for all facets of the company,
including assets, liabilities, revenues and expenses.Prepare
monthly general ledger account reconciliations and research any
discrepancies.Assist in the preparation of monthly financial
statements and monthly management reports, along with supporting
schedules and key metrics.Assist with analyzing financial
statements on a monthly basis and report on variances.Provide
annual audit support for both the external financial and ad hoc
audits.Assist with special projects and reports as
needed.Collaborate with team members in finance and other
departments to create process improvements.Requirements:Position
Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.3+ years
accounting/finance experienceSolid working knowledge of
GAAP.Experience in the credit card/banking industry
preferred.Physical Requirements:The work is of an intellectual
nature. While performing the functions of this job, the employee is
required to stand and sit for prolonged periods. Specific vision
abilities required include close and medium distance vision and the
ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal sounds,
distinguish sound as voice and communicate through human speech.
This position requires the ability to operate a keyboard, computer
mouse, telephone, fax, copier, writing tools, and other standard
office equipment. On an occasion, an employee will be asked to lift
