Job Description:
Project Coordinator We are actively looking for a
detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our growing team, at a
building material supplier that manufactures and distributes a wide
variety of building products to both single- and multi-family
homebuilders, developers, and contractors. The Project Coordinator
will be responsible for actively managing multiple projects a time
while proofing submittals, generating change orders, oversee order
entries for your projects and manage the accountability of field
managers while also working closely with various in-house
departments, as well as customers and vendors. Job Type: Full Time,
On-site Responsibilities for the Project Coordinator: Coordinate
with field managers, ensuring timely submission of verifications
and data, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations,
policies, and procedures Post bid addendums, proposal requests,
etc. Using experience and knowledge as they relate to building
products Documenting all aspects of any given project through
contracts, change orders, sales orders, purchase orders, order
acknowledgements, submittals, emails and/or other forms of
correspondence. Managing several projects daily Working with
production on lead-times and shipping details Direct communication
with customers via phone, email, or jobsite visits Determining and
adequately meeting project schedules & deadlines Requirements of
the Project Coordinator: Previous experience in related fields
(carpentry, construction, building materials) Associate's degree in
related fields preferred Knowledgeable in Construction processes
and what Building Materials are required Highly effective
supervisory skills and techniques Ability to input, retrieve and
analyze data Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
