  What you will be doing:
  
  • 
    
  • Work with elementary school students who have special education needs
    
  • Provide individualized education plans (IEPs) and accommodations to help students succeed
    
  • Collaborate with other educators and staff members to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment

    Experience you will need:
    
    
    • 
      
    • Must have a valid South Dakota teaching certificate with the appropriate endorsements for special education
      
    • Experience working with elementary school students, particularly those with special education needs, is preferred
      
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, families, and colleagues
      
    • Ability to develop and implement effective teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
      
    • Prior experience with IEP development and implementation is preferred
      
    • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively manage time and resources
      
    • A cover letter, resume, and three letters of recommendation are required as part of the application process
