Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A Behavior Specialist with BCBA certification is sought for a K-12 school setting located in Aurora, IL. This contract position will serve during the current school year (CSY), focusing on supporting special education students within a cooperative educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans tailored to individual student needs Conduct functional behavior assessments and provide data-driven recommendations Collaborate with educators, parents, and support teams to promote positive behavior supports Train and guide staff on behavior management strategies and best practices Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to meet educational goals Qualifications and Experience: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required Experience working in special education settings within K-12 schools Strong understanding of behavior assessment tools and intervention techniques Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication and organizational skills Location: Aurora, Illinois (K-12 school environment) Duration and Contract Details: Contract position supporting the current school year (CSY) Cooperative placement within a special education network Benefits and Perks: Opportunity to contribute to meaningful behavioral support in an educational setting Collaborative work environment with experienced special education professionals Interested candidates should provide documentation of their BCBA certification when applying.
