Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An opportunity exists for an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support elementary school students in a school-based setting. This contract position focuses on providing therapeutic services within resource and self-contained classrooms to help students achieve their functional goals. Working onsite, the role adheres to a school schedule, offering a flexible daily routine aligned with school hours. Location: Aurora, IL Duration: March 2026 through end of school year (May 2026) Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week with flexibility Key Responsibilities: Deliver individualized and group occupational therapy services to elementary students Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to support student success in the classroom Develop, implement, and document treatment plans in compliance with school and state guidelines Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to meet goals Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and communicate effectively with parents and staff Preferred Qualifications: Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with school-based experience Familiarity with elementary school environments, including resource and self-contained classrooms Ability to manage a flexible, school-day schedule Strong communication and collaboration skills Benefits include: Weekly pay on Fridays Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) matching program Flexible scheduling following school hours Materials and license reimbursement allowance This contract offers a rewarding opportunity to impact the lives of young learners in Aurora, IL while enjoying competitive benefits and a supportive work schedule.
