Schedule: Monday-Friday, afternoons/evenings POSITION SUMMARY As an
Assistant Youth Development Professional in our elementary
out-of-school time programs, you’ll be a: Safety Star: Keep
students safe through active supervision Playtime Pal : Playtime is
serious business! You’ll play games, read fun books, and have a
blast with the kids. Homework Helper : Imagine being a superhero
for homework! You’ll help students with their schoolwork, like
solving math problems, reading cool stories and helping with art or
science experiments Tidy Wizard : Like magic, you’ll clean and
organize stuff! Make sure everything has its place. Reasonable

functions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS STATEMENT(S) PRIMARY DUTIES: Join
the fun: Be actively engaged with students by playing games and
participating in activities Be a helper: Provide help with homework
and educational activities Be a good example: Show kids how to be
kind, respectful and helpful Watch over kids: Prioritize student
safety and report safety concerns to Site Coordinator Keep things
tidy: Clean and organize spaces to make sure they are safe and fun
Serve snacks: Assist with preparing and serving snacks Keep track
of who’s here: Help track attendance and participation as requested
Embrace diversity: Appreciate and learn from people with different
backgrounds Recognize and value diversity within the work
environment Respect privacy: Maintain high level of confidentiality
with sensitive information Stay informed: Complete all trainings
required by licensing and organization within identified timeframe
POSITIONS QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS & ABILITIES Education & Experience:
Must be at least 16 years old; if under age 18, must work under
direct and constant supervision of a Youth Development Professional
or Site Coordinator. PHYSICAL DEMANDS A. Ability to Stand, Walk,
sit, manually manipulate, reach outward and above shoulders, speak
and bend on a daily basis B. Capability to lift, carry, push or
