Job Description:
Job responsibilities include: Ordering new books for the library
collection. Weeding old, poor-condition, no-longer-suitable books
from the collection. Assisting students in finding books and other
materials. Promoting literacy and library use. Working with
teachers to provide library assistance for classroom activities.
Guiding students toward suitable reading materials for age and
reading level. Checking out books and other materials to students,
faculty, and staff. Working with the building principal and library
director to make the school library a central attraction.
