Job Description:

services, in playing a crucial role in maintaining the operational
integrity of our fleet and machinery. As a Preventative Maintenance
Mechanic, you will be pivotal in ensuring that our vehicles and
equipment used in residential, commercial, and industrial waste
management are reliable and safe, helping us serve our communities
efficiently while protecting the environment. Perform routine
maintenance on various types of waste management vehicles and
equipment to prevent future problems or breakdowns. Inspect,
lubricate, and service machinery and equipment regularly according
to scheduled service intervals. Document and maintain records of
inspections, maintenance routines, and repairs. Troubleshoot and
diagnose mechanical issues and perform timely repairs. Ensure
compliance with all safety and environmental protocols. Collaborate
with the management team to optimize maintenance procedures and
reduce downtime. Assist in inventory management of parts and
supplies. Profound knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic
systems. Ability to work with diagnostic computers for
troubleshooting and repairs. Strong understanding of safety
practices in high-risk environments. Capable of physical tasks
including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Valid driver’s license, CDL preferred. ASE Certification in Diesel
Mechanics is advantageous.
