Your Impact: Join Pearce as a Generator Technician and play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing commercial generators on cell phone towers. This position is ideal for self-motivated individuals eager to excel in the Telecom industry. Responsibilities: Maintain, diagnose, and repair generator issues; install or replace components and systems. Conduct regular performance checks and maintenance on generators; interpret blueprints or design specifications. Install fuel and water lines, pumps, electrical wiring, controls, and perform operational tests. Promptly respond to Power/Generator alarms; be on call 24/7 if necessary. Identify potential hazards; use safety equipment and practices; attend safety and training meetings. Required Skills: Minimum of one year of experience with generator and electrical maintenance; two or more years preferred. Thorough knowledge of generator installations, maintenance, and repair; moderate computer skills. Basic knowledge of FCC/FAA/EPA/OSHA regulations. Electrical experience preferred. Ability to lift over 50 pounds, stoop, bend, kneel, squat, climb, and stand for long periods. Willingness to drive long distances and work flexible hours, including overtime and emergency callouts.
