Manager Montevideo Hospital & Clinic Montevideo, MinnesotaSchedule:
This position works at least 40 hours per week, primarily
Monday-Friday, day shifts.As a full time exempt, CPS Solutions, LLC
Materials Manager Montevideo Hospital & Clinic, you are responsible
to plan, organize, control and supervise operation activities in
the client materials management department according to facility
policies and CPS-- Supply Chain Solutions standards. In addition,
you will provide quality support and superior customer service by
developing and maintaining comprehensive reports in an evolving
data environment. In addition, you will provide project support on
an as needed basis for Regional Vice Presidents with extraction and
analysis of data with the subsequent ability to synthesize the data
into information consumable by senior business decision makers.
Additional responsibilities include: Develop policies and
procedures in the areas of procurement, inventory control,
receiving and storage, distribution, duplicating and mail transport
throughout the hospital Provide administrative support to the Chief
Operating Officer in the form of reports, budgets, supply
utilization analysis and capital expenditure management. Interface
directly with all departments in the hospital regarding materials
that have been requested to ascertain specifications and need.
Negotiate and act as the contact person for all purchase agreements
with the various distributors for materials that may or may not be
addressed by a group purchasing organization. Review, evaluate and
approve all purchase orders. Coordinate all activities of the
Central Services area, except for sterilization procedures. Solicit
proposals from various manufacturers and distributors for all
supplies and equipment throughout the hospital, except for
pharmaceuticals and dietary products. Maintain a good rapport and a
cooperative working relationship with physicians, departments and
staff. Oversight and management of 3 department employees including
2 Purchasing Assistants and and Accounting Assistant. About the
facility: CCM Health Montevideo Hospital is a 25 bed critical
access hospital serving local residents and those in the
surrounding nearby Western MN counties. Services include medical,
surgical, orthpedics, cardiology, neurology, pulmonology, urology
and emergency. The Materials Management department is open
Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered
with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this
department. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions,
LLC.Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree with emphasis on business
administration, economics or a related field (experience may be
accepted in lieu of a college degree) At least 3 years of recent
experience as Materials Management Director in a healthcare
environment At least 3 years of experience in managing staff and
building teams Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Proven
knowledge of inventory, and purchasing practices associated with
the healthcare industry, specifically hospital materials management
Hospital Requirements: (may be required) (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof
of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months (MMR) Measles,
Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity Varicella - (2)
documented doses or A Blood Titer proving Hep B3 Series (or
declination) (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1 st
