  • Manage commercial construction projects from conception to completion.
  • Formulate reports concerning such areas as work progress, costs, and scheduling.
  • Manage and control projects through the direction of the on-site superintendent to ensure quality control and job completion on schedule and within budget.
  • Meet all project goals (i.e. change orders, critical path dates, punch list completion, and closing reports).
  • Maintain regular communication with management regarding project status.
  • This PM will be managing a large 3M project in Brookings, SD. The project is projected to take 24 months to complete. This individual would work out of HCC's office in Sioux Falls and drive to the project site in Brookings 3-4 times/week. Projected start date would be mid-march, but Jerry said if we find someone with the skills prior to that, he'd be able to bring them on as much as 4-6 weeks earlier than that.Skills:

      • 3+ years experience working in a Project Manager position for a GC running and managing projects from start to finish.
      • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture is highly desirable.
      • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
      • Knowledge of Timberline and Procore software is beneficial.
      • Experience with scheduling program preferred.
      • Broad-based understanding of project management with strong planning skills.
      • Ability to work independently.
