• Work closely with internal (and/or external) teams to understand the scope of work, goals, deliverables, and timeline to ensure project success.
• Examine resource requirements and availability needed for project.
• Create project plans, timelines, and milestone achievements.
• Ensures adherence to project plans and timelines to be met by internal and external resources.
• Measure and monitor project performance. Create and review project status reports.
• Coordinate the efforts of the project team through detailed planning efforts.
• Initiates corrective actions as necessary as they relate to the project.
• Ensure appropriate visibility and communication of the project.
• Collect post-project feedback to look for issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure that all project documents are complete and stored appropriately.Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of Project Management Body of Knowledge.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Technical proficiency in the area of project management practice is helpful, and necessity determined by position.
  • Proficient with a computer, including Microsoft Office programs. Intermediate to expert level in Microsoft Project.
  • Strong administrative skills. Must be very detail oriented.
  • Exceptional oral and written communications.
  • High level of patience and service. Ability to motivate team members.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
  • Team player who is self-motivated, and has ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of time.Benefits
