Job Description:
Territory Manager, HI (North Central) Are you a "road warrior"
with outside sales experience in home improvement, building
materials or a related industry? Do you have experience teaching
customers all along the value stream how to be successful with your
products whether user, retailer, or distributor? Does cold calling
get your blood pumping? Do you aspire to high-performance and want

might be a perfect fit for our open Territory Manager position
(Home Improvement Segment) at Sashco. Sashco develops and
manufactures innovative and high-performance sealants, caulks, and
stains for DIY, remodeling, and log home finishing markets. We are
a third-generation family-owned, professionally operated company.
We are dedicated to delivering products that work and, more
importantly, to running the company in a way that honors people. HI
Territory Managers (TM) are accountable for leveraging Sashco's
value proposition including our high-performance positioning,
merchandising collateral, marketing, and promotional programs to
increase placement and sell-through of our brands through both
existing and new customers in the channels we serve. In this case
within the North Central Territory encompassing the following
states: MN, IA, WY, MT, NE, ND, SD. The ideal home base for this
position is Minneapolis, MN, Sioux Falls, SD, Omaha/Lincoln NE, or
Des Moines, IA . As a TM at Sashco, you will join a talented team
of high-performers as passionate about your success as they are
their own. You will enjoy considerable autonomy but are also
accountable for your piece of the plan, the execution of which will
require about 75% of your work time to be spent on the road - away

role, the ideal candidate must--- Possess 2-3 years of outside
sales / territory management experience Possess a BS / BA in
Business or related field Will consider additional years of
industry experience in lieu of Bachelors Possess a clean driving
record Have CRM experience Possess technology proficiency: Smart
phone and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) at a minimum
Can communicate effectively demonstrating tact, empathy, and
respect. Must possess strong attention to detail for CRM
maintenance, orders, and reports Bonus points for anyone with these
qualifications. Channel experience and existing relationships
(hardware, lumber, building materials) Salesforce experience
Advanced Excel acumen Passion for home improvement projects. In the
lumberyard or improvement store almost every weekend Experience
with lean and / or process improvement methods Formal Sales
Training (especially Challenger) In your first six months, you
will--- Start by being a sponge. We provide a robust onboard and
training program to help you learn about customers, systems,
processes, and our products. This will be a mix of in-person,
virtual and in the field w/ manager and / or peers. Upon completion
of onboard and initial training, continue working from
"proficiency" to "mastery" of TM skills. Assume ownership of
territory and assigned direct accounts Attend industry events,
buying markets aligned with strategic plan Get to know the team.
Integrate with the sales & marketing team with whom you will
interface the most in addition to getting to know other teams
within Sashco. Salary and Benefits: Full Time team members will
enjoy our excellent benefits package worth up to $13,000/yr.
