Marram Health Center is a federally qualified health center (FQHC) with locations in Gary and Hebron, Indiana. Marram is affiliated with Porter-Starke Services, Inc., a non-profit community mental health center providing mental health services in Porter and Starke counties in Northwest Indiana. POSITION SUMMARY The Marram Director contributes to Marram Health Centers' mission and goals of client satisfaction, quality of care, and productivity by ensuring the clinic operates according to federal and state funding guidelines. Supervision of the management team and ensures quality of care and efficient management of the Centers' processes and programs. The Marram Director represents Marram before the local community. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Develop/Support Patient-Centered Medical Home Model

  • Plans, implements, supervises and coordinates the conduct of clinic operations, manages employee and clinic performance to meet annual goals and objectives.
  • Works in concert with Marram VP and other office staff to ensure compliance with governmental and regulatory agencies; including but no limited to HRSA, OSHA, HIPAA, FTCA, AAAHC, pharmaceutical partners, etc.
  • Collaborates with Medical Director and other key staff to monitor and improve processes and outcomes of care.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to patient eligibility and enrollment programs and services.
  • Has knowledge and understanding of the agency's internal and external customer needs and is committed to meeting or exceeding those expectations.
  • Develops and trains staff; continuously improves processes, services and outcomes.
  • Screens, hires and orientates employees, resolves conflicts, evaluates performance.
  • Maintains appropriate staffing levels based on work demand seasonally and long-term.
  • Initiates and leads weekly local management team meetings to discuss financial reports, variance reports, productivity, outreach, client issues and facility issues.
  • Monitors provider productivity and works with department supervisors to adjust appointment schedules, policies and procedures and staff, as needed.
  • Reviews records required to generate reports; assures reports are accurate and on time; assures compliance with federal, state and other regulations.
  • Participates in formulating of clinic objectives, policies and procedures.
  • Periodically evaluates all processes and systems of clinic in accordance with clinic policies and procedures.
  • Assists with contract agreements and resolutions.
  • Formulates and monitors clinic budget; corrects variances.
  • Secures vendors, approves and submits vendor payments in a timely manner.
  • Represents the clinic in the community and in contacts with other agencies, often involving complex explanation, interpretation and influence.
  • Recruits clients to become members of Community Involvement Committee.
  • Meet as requested by Marram VP with Community Involvement Committee on clinic's financial reports, productivity, outreach activities and facility need.
  • Establishes, monitors and evaluates staff performance to support quality program outcomes.
  • Regularly attends and solicits ideas and input from QA Committee, follows up as needed.
  • Participates in the development of long-range planning for Marram Health Centers.

      • Ability to multitask REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSE None QUALIFICATIONS
        • BA/BS from an accredited school with a major in Healthcare Administration, business, nursing, public administration or social sciences.
        • 5 to 7 years of clinical or hospital administration experience.
        • 5 to 7 years of prior administrative and supervisory experience required.
        • Spanish fluency preferred.
