LPN Unit - Long Term Care FTE - 0.65 (52 hours/2 weeks) Shifts - nights Number of Openings - 1 Pay Range (min-max) - this is per our LPN union contract SUMMARY: the LPN Position provides each resident with routine daily nursing care and other desired services in accordance with the resident's assessment, choices and care plan. Experience in gerontological nursing is preferred. The LPN must possess excellent clinical skills, be self-directed, and have an understanding of the nursing process in order to monitor the nursing care delivered by the neighborhood staff. The LPN carries out monitoring responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: training employees, planning, assigning and directing work; monitors, tracks and reports performance; addresses complaints and resolves problems. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Graduate of School of Licensed Practical Nursing CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Current licensure to practice nursing in MN. CPR certification is required.
