Position Highlights:
Job Summary
Responsible for the supervision of all nursing staff involved with
direct patient care in the Hematology, Transplant and Cellular
Therapy clinic. Coordinates communication and workflow between
clinic care teams, infusion nurses, physicians, ancillary staff and
others to create a positive outcome for patients and staff. Assists
with the development and implementation of education and training
for staff across the cancer care continuum within Avera Cancer
Institute program and departments. Will be responsible for direct
patient care as needed. Assists manager in overall management of
the area.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing,
training, and retaining employees; planning, assigning, and
directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining
employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
