  Job Summary
  
  
  • 
    
  • General Surgery Department with a mix of surgical specialties -with eight OR rooms.
    
  • Actively uses the nursing process in goal-focused patient care, demonstrating accountability as an individual and team member.
    
  • Provides timely, continuous, age appropriate, collaborative assessment and preparation of patient and family for the next level of care.
    
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and utilizes safe and appropriate patient care protocol as set forth in the standards of practice and unit/department policy/procedure.
    
    
    Education and/or Experience
    
    
    • 
      
    • Eligible for or currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in South Dakota. Basic Life Support certification is mandatory within six months of employment.
      
    • Previous experience in medical, surgical or pediatric nursing is helpful
      
      
      Work Schedule

      • Hours:
        
        
        • 
          
        • Shifts typically start at 7:15 am. -
          
        • Every 5th-6th -day call, weekend call and holiday call.
          
          
          
          
          Pay
          
          The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. -
