  • The Registered Nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide nursing care for Avera@Home patients following the ANA Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice. -
    
  • The nurse assumes responsibility for the outcome of nursing care provided to patients in their homes or in facilities. - -
    
  • The nurse demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide exceptional care for the population served.
    
    
    Education and/or Experience
    
    
    • 
      
    • Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. - Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
      
    • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
      
    • Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
      
      
      Licensure/Certification/Registration
      
      
      • 
        
      • License as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of Multi-state licensure is required. -
        
      • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota may be required depending on the service area. - If required, must obtain within 90 days of being placed in the position or of the requirement. -
        
      • This position requires a valid driver's license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier.
        
        
        Work Schedule
        
        
        • 
          
        • 2 shifts required within 7 week schedule; PRN, as needed
          
        • Weekend Involvement: Able to pick up weekend - no requirement shifts
          
        • Holiday Involvement: Able to pick up holidays - no requirement
          
        • Call Time Involvement: Able to pick up call shifts - no requirement
          
          
          Pay
          
          The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. -
