Avera is currently seeking a part time Speech Pathologist looking to deliver the best possible care at our Inpatient Rehab Unit! -

This position has a flexible day shift schedule and is eligible for Avera benefits. - -

Job Summary -

Responsible for the daily coordination and delivery of diagnostic and therapeutic services in the area of speech, language, cognition, feeding and swallowing for infant through adult patient populations as a member of an interdisciplinary team. -

• You will be working in our new Inpatient Rehab facility which was established 5 years ago. -
  
• Our healing environment focuses on the patient and family as they progress through the rehabilitation process with the goal of returning to their home under the guidance of our engaged team. - -
  
• You will be part of our dynamic interdisciplinary team which includes Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Physical Therapists. -
  
• You will coordinate and deliver diagnostic and therapeutic services of language, cognition, feeding and swallowing for our adult patients. - - -
  
  
  Education and/or Experience
  
  
  • 
    
  • Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited speech and language program from a college or university required. - -
    
    
    Licensure/Certification/Registration
    
    
    • 
      
    • Licensed by the State of South Dakota as a Speech Language Pathologist. - May hold a SD provisional Speech Language Pathologist license for 1-2 years while undergoing their supervised clinical practicum under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
      
      
      Work Schedule

      • Part Time Days; Flexible Schedule; Monday - Friday -
        
      • Weekends - Rotate Every 5th to 6th
        
      • 48hrs every two weeks -
        
        
        Pay
        
        The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
