Avera is seeking a Licensed Occupational Therapist to join their professional team.

  Job Summary
  
  The Occupational therapist will help people who have conditions that are mentally, physically, developmentally or emotionally disabling improve their ability to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments. - OT also helps people develop, recover or maintain daily living and work skills. - This position will work with patients in a variety of settings including: - Outpatient, inpatient, LTC, home health care and pediatrics. - This position will provide coverage at multiple locations for events such as contracted services, extended leaves of absence as well as start-up coverage for new services.
  
  Education and/or Experience
  
  
  • 
    
  • Graduate from an Occupational Therapy program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) preferred.
    
  • One year experience preferred in multiple practice settings.
    
    
    -Certification, Licensure, Registration
    
    
    • 
      
    • Licensed in the State of South Dakota as an Occupational Therapist required.
      
    • Licensed in the state of Minnesota and Iowa as an Occupational Therapist required within 120 days of employment based off job assignment.
      
    • Depending on job assignment, Completion of Child & Dependent Adult Abuse for Iowa Mandatory Reporters course required for Iowa employees within 90 days of employment and every 3 years thereafter.

      The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. -
