Position Highlights:

• 
  
• May be eligible for $5,000 sign-on bonus!
  
• Administer Avera Return to Competition services to patients/athletes in late- stage rehabilitation. -Responsibilities include testing, program design, exercise prescription, and sports performance training.
  
• Assisting in delivering Athletic Republic program services to regional athletes including program prescription, design, and administration.
  
• Establish rapport and work cooperatively with interdisciplinary team members (physicians, physical therapists, athletic trainers, exercise specialists, coaches and dietitians) as necessary throughout athlete's rehab/training program.
  
• Participate in program development of the department.
  
• Providing daily athletic training coverage at our new Avera Human Performance Center.

  Position Requirements/Specifics:

  • 
    
  • Certified as an Athletic Trainer through NATABOC required.
    
  • Licensed as an Athletic Trainer in the State of South Dakota required.
    
  • CSCS certification through NSCA preferred.
    
    
    Pay
    
    The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. -
