Job Description:
Concentric Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Nuclear
Medicine Tech for a travel position in Sioux Falls, SD. This is an
in-person position with competitive benefits including Health

Weekly Pay - Sioux Falls, SD Job Responsibilities: Performing
diagnostic imaging procedures Utilizing radiation protection
measures Operating Picture Archiving & Communication System (PACS)
Conducting Fluoroscopy and CAT Scans Assisting with Vascular
Sonography and Cardiac Imaging General job duties. Types of
procedures required. Responsible for administration of nuclear
imaging procedures, calculation, diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals,
and adjunctive medications using a variety of equipment and
strictly adhering to relevant safety standards. Performs quality
nuclear medicine imaging examinations through the application of
advanced technical knowledge while maintaining strict attention to
patient care in accordance with department policy and procedure.
Job Description Perform a variety of nuclear medicine studies on
inpatients and outpatients in all age groups from neonate to
geriatric. Have an understanding of nuclear regulatory commission
(NRC) rules and regulations, practice radiation safety, safely
operate all cameras and equipment in the department, process and
send data to required destinations via computer. Understands the
theories and principles behind the equipment and tests performed in
the nuclear medicine department. Prepares, measures, and
administers radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of a
physician. Employs radiation-detecting equipment to perform patient
imaging procedures; describes procedures to patients and answers
questions. Implements radiation safety standards and quality
assurance into daily work and monitors a patient's condition during
the course of an imaging procedure. Collects patient information,
analyzes data and provides quality images for a physician to
diagnose a patient. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there
computerized charting, medication systems, etc.) We use Siemen
Symbias Cameras. Epic Charting, and SECTRA PACS. Required skills
and minimum years of experience. We prefer few years' experience
but depends on candidate. Specific licensures and
certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
NMTCB, AHA BLS, SD State License Shift or schedule requirements.
(Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how
often? Are weekends required?) Monday-Friday, 8 hour varied shifts.
Weekend call 0700-1800, every 3-4 weeks. Tell us about the
