Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with 2-3 years of acute cardiac cath lab experience and current AHA ACLS and BLS certifications. Responsibilities - Acute care Level 1 trauma setting in a dedicated cardiac catheterization lab - Unit has 8 fluoro rooms and 1 minimally invasive room without fluoro - Procedures include peripheral/vascular cases, right and left heart catheterizations, device scrubbing, and EP cases - Equipment includes XIM (division of Witt), EPIC EMR, Pyxis, Xcelera, Siemens, and Philips fluoroscopy systems - Work schedule consists of 4 ten-hour varying day shifts (0530-1600, 0630-1700, 0730-1800) - On-call required: 1-2 calls per week and 1 call weekend every 3-4 weeks, 30-minute response time - No floating to other units or departments - Daily responsibilities include scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring cases in both cath and EP labs - Orientation includes focused training on XIM monitoring and effective scrubbing/circulating procedures - Must badge in and out each shift - Ceil blue scrubs provided - All previous employees at Sanford Health must have concluded employment at least 6 months prior to consideration - Candidates with a permanent address within 80 miles may be considered as locals Requirements - Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a cardiac cath lab setting required; 2-3 years preferred - Current AHA ACLS and BLS certifications required - RCIS or RCES certification preferred - Experience with Epic EMR, XIM charting, and fluoroscopy systems highly preferred - Must be able to scrub, circulate, and monitor a variety of complex cardiac and vascular procedures Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627179.
