RNs welcome to apply! This team is comprised of a 41-bed medical
telemetry unit and an additional 12-bed acuity adaptable critical
care unit. The medical telemetry unit provides care for a diverse
patient population requiring telemetry monitoring, and sees
multiple diagnoses including but not limited to chest pain,
congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, electrophysiology studies,
and pacemaker/internal defibrillator implants. The acuity adaptable
critical care unit provides care for the medical telemetry patient
requiring a higher acuity of care, up to and including critical
care diagnoses and equipment such as balloon pumps, vasoactive
medication, ventilators, and advanced cardiac procedure pre/post
care. Nursing skillsets on Cardiology & the Cardiac Specialty Unit
range from medical telemetry nursing to an advanced critical care
nursing. This range of expertise proves a wonderful opportunity to
develop the fundamental skills of nursing along with the advance
skill sets of a cardiac critical care setting! Job Summary The
Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing
process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation
and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients.

employee experience. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited
nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American
Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission
for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing
Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred. Currently holds an
unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the
practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate
licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state. Obtains and
subsequently maintains required department specific competencies
