Description of job: SnapCare is seeking a detail-oriented and
patient-focused Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic
Imaging team in Sioux City, Iowa. The Radiologic Technologist will
perform diagnostic imaging procedures, ensure patient safety and
comfort, and produce high-quality images to assist physicians in
accurate diagnosis and treatment. Perform diagnostic radiographic
examinations in accordance with physician orders Position patients
correctly and safely to obtain optimal imaging results Operate and
maintain radiographic equipment Ensure proper radiation safety and
protection protocols are followed Accurately document procedures
and patient information in the EMR and imaging systems Prepare and
administer contrast agents as required (within scope of practice)
Provide clear instructions and reassurance to patients before and
during procedures Maintain imaging rooms, stock supplies, and
report equipment issues promptly Qualifications: Graduate of an
accredited Radiologic Technology program Active ARRT (R)
certification Active Iowa state license or eligibility to obtain
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association) Minimum of 1
year clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist
Responsibilities: Assist interventional radiologists during
procedures such as angiograms, stent placements, embolizations,
biopsies, drain placements, and other image-guided interventions.
Prepare procedure rooms, sterile trays, instruments, and imaging
equipment to ensure readiness for each case. Operate fluoroscopy,
CT, ultrasound, and other imaging modalities used for guidance
during procedures. Assess and monitor patients during procedures,
including vital signs and response to sedation when applicable.
Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and radiation
safety protocols. Document procedural details, imaging data, supply
usage, and patient information accurately in the EMR. Collaborate
with physicians, nurses, and technologists to ensure efficient
workflow and high-quality patient outcomes. Assist with
post-procedure care, including dressing changes and equipment
breakdown/sanitization. Respond to emergent situations and support
