Location: Avera Queen of Peace Hospital Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Primarily days with night, weekend and holiday on-call involvement (United States of America) Pay Range: The pay range for this position is listed below. Work where you matter. A Brief Overview Performs scrub duties and assists surgeons with procedures. What you will do Assists surgeons by handing required instruments during procedures without difficulty. Documents controls accurately and correctly from Steris DX and flash sterilization. Performs all suture and instrument counts without error. Stores products appropriately. Checks for outdated supplies, noting before opening on the back table. Selects product(s) for procedures. Orients new staff as assigned. Maintains turnover time within acceptable limits. Maintains awareness of safety hazards and use of equipment to prevent damage or harm to personnel or patients. Essential Qualifications The individual must be able to work the hours specified. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily including having visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to communicate effectively with others, hear, understand and distinguish speech and other sounds.
