Job Description Job Description Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribe Long Term Care Center Director Of Nursing Opens: 8/1/2025 Open until filled Competitive wage based upon experience Job Summary : Planning, organizing, developing and directing the overall operations of the Nursing department in accordance with the local, state and federal standards and regulations, established facility policies and procedures and as may be directed by the Administrator and the Medical Director, to provide appropriate care and services to the residents. Qualifications/requirements: A Nursing degree from an accredited college or university. Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing home, or other related health care facility. Current unrestricted license as a Registered (RN) in practicing state. Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to long-term care. Current CPR certification. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Subject to call-back during emergency conditions. Must submit to a P.L. 101-630 background check. Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
