Summary We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Pulmonology
Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. As a
Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a
crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with
respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, pneumonia, and
other pulmonary disorders. This is an exciting opportunity to make
a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a
dedicated team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough physical assessments and medical screenings of
patients with pulmonary conditions. Diagnose and treat common
respiratory illnesses, including asthma, bronchitis, and pneumonia.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients,
considering their medical history, current symptoms, and lifestyle
factors. Prescribe medications and therapies, such as inhalers,
antibiotics, and pulmonary rehabilitation programs. Educate
patients and their families on the importance of proper disease
management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
Perform diagnostic procedures, such as spirometry, chest X-rays,
and arterial blood gas analysis. Monitor and evaluate patient
progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. Requirements
Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled
nursing facility Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner,
Physician Assistant, or Physician license DEA License CPR BCLS/BLS
certified Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing Completed a degree
from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Preferred experience
in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
Must have great organizational and time management skills. Must be
able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your
feet up to 6-8 hours per day Benefits Competitive salary: $60,000 -
