registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience
required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not
be considered. A part-time nursing opportunity is available
supporting an elementary/pre-kindergarten student in a school
setting located in Aurora, IL. This contract-to-hire position
offers 21 hours per week, scheduled on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and
Fridays. The role requires providing one-on-one nursing care to a
student who uses a tracheostomy, making trach experience essential.
Key responsibilities include: Delivering direct nursing care
tailored to the student's needs Managing tracheostomy care to
ensure safety and comfort Collaborating with educators and school
staff to support the student's health needs Monitoring the students
condition and responding to changes promptly Documenting care and
maintaining communication with relevant personnel and family
members Preferred qualifications and experience: Valid RN or
LPN/LVN licensure with school nursing experience Demonstrated
expertise in tracheostomy care and management Strong communication
skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an educational
environment Experience providing care in a 1:1 school nursing
