This role is vital in our mission to deliver comprehensive, person-centered healthcare by ensuring our patients receive timely and accurate medication administration. Join our dedicated team to profoundly impact patient health and wellness through skilled medication management. Administer daily medications to long term care patients under the supervision of nursing staff. Monitor patient health and side effects of medications, reporting any concerns to the supervising nurse. Maintain accurate medication administration records according to established health regulations. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and families on medication regimens and proper care procedures. Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new healthcare practices and medications. Strong knowledge of pharmacology and medication administration Excellent attention to detail Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Basic computer skills for maintaining digital health records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k State-certified Medication Assistant certification mandatory. CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
