Good Samaritan Health Center, a leading advocate for holistic healthcare in underserved communities, is seeking dedicated RNs (Registered Nurses) and LPNs (Licensed Practical Nurses) to join our team. These roles are pivotal in delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care in alignment with our mission to promote health and wellness outcomes. As part of our staff, you will work within a dynamic team environment to address a wide range of medical needs in a culturally competent, empathetic manner that respects the dignity of each individual. Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients. Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management. Liaising with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, social workers, and therapists to improve patient care. Operate and monitor medical equipment. Help perform diagnostic tests and analyze results. Proficient in clinical skills with an ability to handle medical emergencies. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Detailed understanding of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.). Ability to maintain a friendly, calm, and efficient environment under stress. Basic computer skills for maintaining patient records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid nursing license as an RN or LPN. CPR certification preferred. Other specialized certifications related to primary care or acute care might be advantageous.
