Good Samaritan Health Center, dedicated to uplifting underprivileged communities through holistic healthcare, seeks a compassionate and skilled Senior Nursing Assistant, Certified, for our Long Term Care department. This role is critical in delivering personalized patient care by supporting daily living activities, monitoring health conditions, and ensuring the emotional and physical comfort of our patients. Our ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to healthcare equity and the betterment of patient lives through empathetic, professional nursing practices. Assist in daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients. Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes in patient health to RNs and other healthcare team members. Support a range of motion exercises and other rehabilitative measures. Administer medications as directed and maintain accurate patient records. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients, helping to maintain a positive, safe environment. Assist with patient mobility, including transferring patients between beds and wheelchairs. Strong interpersonal and communication skills High level of patience and empathy Physical endurance and strength Attention to detail Ability to work in a team Proficiency in using medical software for record keeping Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification CPR certified
