Good Samaritan Health Center seeks a dedicated Certified Medication Aide to join our team, providing crucial medication management and support services in our healthcare facilities serving underserved communities. The role demands a compassionate professional committed to the health and wellness outcomes of our patients. Responsibilities include accurate administration of medication, recording patient responses, and assisting in daily wellness activities under the supervision of healthcare professionals. Administer scheduled medications to patients as prescribed by the healthcare provider Monitor patient health and document treatment progress Adhere to all healthcare regulations and standards while handling medications Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care Educate and assist patients in understanding the importance and procedures related to their medications Maintain meticulous records of medications administered and patient responses Report any significant patient health changes observed to the supervising nurse or doctor immediately Proficiency in managing multiple medication schedules accurately Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Compassion and patience in dealing with vulnerable populations Attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification from an accredited program CPR Certification preferred Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
