Medical Technologist Location: Winnebago, NE Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $1,600 to $1,800 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $40.00 - $45.00/Hourly. Shift: 7 PM to 730 AM (7 on 7 off) 12 hr shifts. Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Laboratory Manager, the MT/MLTprovides technical support by performing analyses, tests, and procedures that assist in the prevention, diagnosis, or treatment of diseases. Accessioning/ ordering tests in the Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and processing specimens with referral to the reference laboratories. Operates, maintains, and calibrates the equipment used to ensure it is operating efficiently and providing accurate results. Performs basic troubleshooting as needed. Maintain documentation according to regulatory agencies and write laboratory policies and procedures. Exposure to infectious clinical specimens on a regular basis, so adherence to sterilization and infection control procedures is required. This position is responsible for using his/her skill, accuracy, proficiency and dedication to work in all laboratory sections performing analytical testing on patients specimens. Requirements Requirements: 1 - Year experience Required, BLS Certification, Must have graduated from an approved school of Medical Technology/Laboratory Science with a bachelor’s degree and be certified/registered by one of the following agencies: MT(ASCP), MT(AMT), CLS(NCA).
