Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Occupational Therapist - Discipline: Therapy - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Shift: /n8 Hour Days; 2 Saturdays the entire 13 weeks/n/n /nWork Experience:/n/n /n/t - At least 2 years of experience. /n/t - The Occupational Therapist (OT) is a professional who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. /n/t - The OT is ultimately responsible for implementation and documentation of interventions, outcomes, discharge plans and patient/family/care giver education. /n/t - He/she collaborates with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary health care team to provide continuity of care. /n/t - The OT is responsible for the supervision of and delegation of tasks to appropriate individuals including technicians, students, and other customers of the organizations. /n/t - The OT must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate patient care and is accountable to the policies and procedures of the organization /n /n/n /nEducation:/n/nGraduate of an accredited school of professional occupational therapist education program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) /n /nLicense:/n/nNE OT License /n /nCertifications: /nBLS/CPR Certification.
