As a local traveler Registered Nurse for Long-Term Care (LTC), you will play a crucial role in delivering holistic health and wellness outcomes. This position requires compassionate care and a proactive approach in managing the overall health of residents in various LTC facilities within the local region. You will ensure continuity of care and promote the highest levels of physical and mental well-being in collaboration with a supportive and multidisciplinary team. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to elderly patients based on specific needs. Evaluate and document patient outcomes and respond accordingly to any changes in condition. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor for reactions or side effects. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Communicate with family members to provide updates and educate them on patient condition and care plans. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards for LTC facilities, including hygiene and infection control standards. Exceptional clinical skills with a focus on geriatric care Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexibly and adapt to varying environments Proficient in using medical software and patient health records Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
