Job Description:
Good Samaritan Health Center, a trusted healthcare provider in
underserved communities, seeks a compassionate and skilled
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to enhance our Long Term Care
(LTC) team. This role demands a dedicated individual focused on
improving holistic health outcomes by offering personal, direct
healthcare services to our residents in long-term care settings.
You will be key to our mission of extending respectful, inclusive,
and life-enhancing care to our patients, ensuring dignity and
promoting well-being in a collaborative, supportive environment.
Provide daily nursing care in accordance with resident care plans
Assist residents with personal care tasks, including washing,
dressing, eating, and toileting Perform basic nursing procedures
under the supervision of a licensed nurse Record and report changes
in the patients' physical condition, behavior, or appearance to
supervising staff Promote patients' independence by establishing
patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand
conditions, medications, and self-care skills Ensure the health,
comfort, and safety of patients by assisting with bathing, feeding,
and bedding Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and
procedures and abide by federal, state, and local requirements
Enhance the quality of life for our residents by ensuring a
homelike setting that meets their medical, physical, and emotional
needs Proficient in clinical practices and a thorough understanding
of health and safety guidelines Strong interpersonal and
communication skills Ability to work long hours, often under
pressure Good physical condition and stamina Medical Insurance
