registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years NICU RN
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Provide specialized nursing
care in a high-acuity Level III NICU setting, supporting newborns
ranging from 24 weeks gestation to 44 weeks, including micro
preemies requiring respiratory support and surgical care. This role
focuses on nurturing grower-feeders and critically ill infants in a
challenging but rewarding clinical environment. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver comprehensive nursing care to NICU
patients with varied acuity levels. Monitor vital signs, administer
medications, and manage respiratory support equipment. Collaborate
with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Maintain meticulous documentation using Epic charting system.
Support family education and communicate effectively with
caregivers. Float to an alternate campus if patient census requires
flexibility. Work every other weekend to maintain continuity of
care. Desired Qualifications: Registered Nurse with current
Illinois licensure. Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level III
NICU. Competency in caring for micro preemies (24 weeks gestation)
and high-acuity infants. Certified in CPR and Neonatal
Resuscitation Program (NRP). Experienced with Epic electronic
medical records preferred. Schedule: 12-hour day shifts 7:00 AM to
7:00 PM Every other weekend required Location Overview: Aurora, IL,

Compensation for this position ranges from $26.59 to $50.00.
