Pay Range: The pay range for this position is listed below. Actual
pay rate dependent upon experience. $24.00 - $48.00 Position
Highlights RN Pay Range: $32.00 - $48.00 LPN Pay Range: $24.00 -
$33.00 *This position may be eligible for a Sign on Bonus* Nurses
with 3 years of experience - Every 3rd weekend, Every other holiday
Nurses with < 3 yrs – Every other weekend, Every other holiday
About our Programs: The Avera Adolescent Addiction Care Program is
designed to be an age-appropriate residential treatment facility.
Residents receive a tailor-made recovery program based on their
personal needs with a focus on healthy coping skills. The Avera
Behavioral Health Adolescent & Child Units are designed to be a
structured and age-appropriate therapeutic environment for
adolescents and children to learn to understand problems, use
healthy coping skills and set and complete goals. You will enjoy
this Behavioral Health setting if you are Nurse that: - Has a
passion for working with adolescents on their addiction recovery
path. - Is dynamic and flexible - Enjoys the ability to work in
multiple patient care settings (Addiction Care with cross training
to the Child/Adolescent Program) - Enjoys patient focused care with
a team that is dedicated to quality patients outcomes - Has a
passion helping patients with conditions such as Addiction, Anxiety
Disorders, Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and Depression
or Suicidal behavior. - Appreciates an active, challenging care

professional nursing practice. - Possesses motivation to help
create and delivery high-quality patient care in an energizing team
environment. Unit Highlights: - This position is cross trained to
work in Adolescent Addiction, Adolescent Program and Child Program
- Adolescent Addition is a 8 bed residential program - Adolescent
program is a 40 bed unit - Child unit is a 14 bed unit -

Requirements for LPN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Board of
Nursing An active license in the state of practice Upon Hire

Nursing Care by developing a nursing diagnosis; establishing
nursing care objectives; defining nursing interventions; providing
physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to
patients, families, and friends to understand patient conditions,
medications, and self-care skills; noting changing conditions and
needs; re-evaluating care objectives./n What you will do - Provides
patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions; communicating
the nursing care plan and all pertinent information to other
members of the health care team; coordinating with other healthcare
providers; providing physical, emotional, psychological, and
spiritual support to patients, families, and friends; conferring
with physicians. /n - Develops nursing care plans by obtaining
medical histories; examining patients; documenting patient physical
condition, psychological status, and influencing social factors;
conferring with family and friends; developing a nursing diagnosis;
establishing nursing care objectives; defining nursing
interventions, schedules, and timetables. /n - Teaches healthcare
requirements by establishing patient care goals; instructing
patient, family, and friends to understand condition, medications,
and self-care skills; answering questions; providing information
and resources. /n - Evaluates patient care by adhering to
therapeutic standards; measuring health outcomes against patient
care standards; reviewing patient records; noting changing
conditions and needs; re-evaluating care objectives; modifying
nursing care plan. /n - Maintains safe, secure, and healthy patient
care environment by adhering to infection-control policies and
protocols, medication administration and storage procedures, and
controlled substance regulations; adhering to organization
standards and policies, and to legal regulations; alerting others
regarding potential concerns. /n - Documents patient care services
by charting in patient and department records. /n - Keeps patient
care equipment operating by following operating instructions and
established procedures; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining
supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
/n - Keeps patient care supplies ready by checking stock;
anticipating needs; placing and expediting orders; verifying
receipt; stocking items. /n - Maintains competence in nursing
capabilities outlined by leadership. Essential Qualifications The

this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each

acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to

Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing An active license in the
