This contract role offers the opportunity to work varied 10-hour shifts providing crucial support during peripheral/vascular cases, right and left heart catheterizations, and electrophysiology (EP) cases. Gain experience utilizing industry-standard technology including XIM (Witt/Philips), EPIC, Pyxis, Xcelera, and Siemens/Philips fluoroscopy systems. Location Situated in Hartford, SD, the position is within an 80-mile local placement radius, offering the convenience of proximity and community-focused healthcare delivery. Position Details: - Contract assignment with 4-10 hour shifts, varying between 0530-1800 hours - On-call responsibilities: 1 on-call shift per week, and one weekend call every 3-4 weeks, with a 30-minute response time - Scrubs provided (Ceil Blue) - Badge in/out required at the facility - Mandate list participation to cover vacant call shifts Key Responsibilities: - Scrub, circulate, and monitor peripheral and vascular cases, right and left heart catheterizations - Assist with device procedures and EP cases as needed - Utilize computerized charting and medication systems including XIM, EPIC, and Pyxis during case management - Ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency within an 8-room fluoroscopy unit and 1 minimally invasive room Qualifications & Experience: - 2-3 years cath lab imaging experience required - BLS (AHA certification) mandatory - ACLS (AHA certification) mandatory - RCIS or RCES preferred but not required - Must disclose previous employment with the healthcare network if applicable; a minimum 6-month gap required before reapplication This role is ideal for imaging professionals seeking a dynamic work environment with structured orientation focused on monitoring, scrubbing, and circulating in complex cardiac procedures.
