At Good Samaritan Health Center, we are seeking a dedicated Lead Food Service Assistant to manage weekend operations within our Food & Beverage department. Focused on improving holistic health and wellness outcomes, this role involves overseeing meal preparation, ensuring dietary guidelines are followed, and leading a team committed to enhancing the nutrition and overall well-being of our community. This position requires strong leadership skills, experience in food services within healthcare or nonprofit settings, and a passion for community service. Coordinate and oversee the preparation and delivery of meals during weekends Ensure all food services comply with health and safety regulations Manage and train weekend food service staff Collaborate with dietitians to plan meals that meet specific dietary requirements Maintain records of food supplies and manage inventory Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback and coaching Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in food safety and handling regulations Ability to work independently and make informed decisions Experience in menu planning and dietetics Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k ServSafe Food Handler certification CPR and First Aid certification preferred
