Senior Software Security Architect (m/f/d) At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.-- Job Overview As Software Architect you will be responsible for definition of the software architecture with a focus on security and report directly to the Software Project Leader. In the software architecture team, you will work closely with the Software Developers, Software Integration and Software Testers and take on active technical leadership and guidance in the development of the software. In particular, you will be responsible for:

• Responsibility for the development of software architectures in the field of embedded infotainment systems
• Analysis, evaluation and development of software requirements and design based on customer and system requirements.
• Support the feature implementation.
• Based on the System Architects planning, realize design and code reviews.
• Support the review of feature test plans and test cases. Additional requirements in the role as Senior Software Security Architect include
  • Technical leadership of the Software Security Team--
  • First point of contact and interface to customers for all software security issues
  • Integration of security requirements in software architectures, considering the system architecture
  • Design, implementation and evaluation of the use of different state-of-the-art hardware security modules (HSM, eSHE, ARM TrustZone, OP-TEE, ...) and mechanisms (authentication, signing and signature verification, encryption and decryption)
  • Dealing with current security standards in the embedded audio/video environment (e.g. AES, DTCP, CI+, TRMP, X509, ...)
    What your background should look like:
    • University degree in engineering, preferably electrical engineering, technical informatics, media informatics, software engineering--
    • Several years of professional experience as software architect or senior software developer in the automotive environment or related areas of infotainment and communication electronics
    • Sound experience in methods and process models for the development of embedded systems in the automotive sector according to Automotive SPICE
    • Very good knowledge and experience in the fields of cyber security and software security
    • Knowledge in handling operating systems, especially Linux and real-time operating systems
    • Experience in the development of control units from the infotainment sector
    • Distinctive organisational talent and communication skills, flexibility, ability to work under pressure as well as assertiveness and structured thinking
    • Negotiation and coordination skills, goal orientation, accuracy, coaching and mentoring skills and decision making
