Job Description Job Description Ready Mix Truck Driver Job Description Department: Ace Ready Mix Reports to: Ace General Manager Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday with some Saturdays Job Summary: We are a growing company with a large fleet. We are seeking hard-working, dependable drivers to join our Ace Ready Mix team. Our drivers deliver concrete to our customers locally. Location: Sioux Falls, SD Education and Experience: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Safely operate and drive mixer trucks with gross vehicle weight (GVW) over 72,000 pounds. Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs. Perform regular inspections and necessary vehicle maintenance (oil, fuel, tire pressure, etc.). Follow delivery schedules. Possess and maintain a valid Class B driver’s license. Pass a background check, drug screen, and driving record check. Maintain a regular, dependable attendance record. Be able to work variable hours which may include overtime. Weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit and drive for long durations. Ability to climb stairs and ladders. Ability to tolerate working outdoors in all environmental temperatures and weather conditions.
