Our client, Watertown SD, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Production Planner to join their team. As a Production Planner , you will be part of the Planning & Operations Department supporting Production, Sales, and Supply Chain Teams . The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills , excellent organizational ability , and strong analytical/problem?solving skills , which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Production Planner Location: Watertown SD Pay Range: $62,000 - $80,000 What's the Job? Manage customer communication daily, handling order requests, changes, and general inquiries Review purchase orders, create accurate production schedules, and manage all order entry and changes Monitor inventory, materials, labor, and equipment to estimate and coordinate production needs Resolve production delays or issues promptly and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and quality Provide production status updates, compile reports, and communicate schedule changes across departments What's Needed? Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, ERP, and MRP systems Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem?solving skills Minimum 2 years of production planning experience; bachelor’s degree preferred Strong safety awareness with the ability to identify quality issues and follow detailed instructions What's in it for me?
