ARC Fabricators has an immediate need to hire Welders/Fabricators. We are currently looking for an experienced welders /fabricators that enjoy custom steel fabrication. Why Join the Team? $20.00 – $25.00 per hour depending on experience Small team environment with opportunity for advancement Opportunity for overtime is available Paid Vacation and Paid Holidays Great benefits including paid Medical (single), paid Vision (single) and paid Dental (single) after 60 day of employment Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to follow instructions Collaborating directly with plant manager, shop supervisor, customer, drafter, and peers to produce finished products Proficient in modern welding techniques and equipment Using wire and filler material applications for various steel fabrication Using manual and power tools for finish grinding applications Utilizing knowledge of various machines, welding practices, mathematics and building materials Reading, understanding and following detailed drawings and blueprint specifications Performing all job functions and using all equipment safely by following all safety policies and good housekeeping practices Handling other duties as assigned within the scope of the position Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 2 -3 years of Welding experience. Metal fabrication experience, preferably in welding Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide inches and pounds, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to read and understand tape measurers and calculators Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Work Environment: Exposed to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and heat (proper PPE & safety training will be provided) Noise level in the work environment is usually loud Make Your Move Every employee contributes to our success.
