Utilizes professional concepts, established technologies and techniques and begins to acquire knowledge of innovative methods and technologies through designing, modifying, developing, writing and implementing software programming applications for a healthcare organization. Develops, standardizes and automates code and tests for software applications and operating systems. Troubleshoots software bugs and problems for application or software end users. Participates in the testing process from functional to regression to automation (UI, API, unit).Works closely with product, marketing and operations teams to understand requirements and create, execute, manage and report test plans, test cases and test reports. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), the Software Quality Life Cycle, Agile/Scrum procedures and processes, and have expert level test automation skills . Must be able to work collaboratively with product and engineering partners on large projects with no supervision.The Software Engineer conducts requirements analysis to generate software design specifications. Applies new technologies to improve the capability of a portfolio of software.Basic knowledge of computer principles and techniques necessary to develop and document software applications systems, as well as software programming. Must have a basic knowledge of relational databases, Object Oriented programming, ASP.NET, C#, CSS, JavaScript, XML, SQL, XHTML, designing and developing web, mobile and/or Windows applications, operating systems and their tool sets, and customer business functions and terminology.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a computer-related field required.BenefitsSanford Health offers an attractive benefits package for qualifying full-time and part-time employees.
