Material Control
1st Shift – (Monday – Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Load and unload trucks with forklift.
  
• Expedite materials to and from the press according to the production schedule.
  
• Assist other departments in putting away raw material with forklift.
  
• Receive material into inventory and warehouse it.
  
• Return used material from presses back into inventory.
  
• Read job tickets and retrieve all the components to run the job.
  
• Keep and maintain accurate inventory counts.
  
• Cut pallets open and tag them with proper ID labels.
  
• Clean and organize the warehouse when needed.
  
• Cut cores according to orders and inventory levels.
  
  Knowledge/Skills:
  
  • 
    
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
    
  • Basic math skills to include converting fractions to decimals.
    
  • Good understanding of printing operations.
    
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
    
  • Computer literate to include Excel and Office Software.
    
  • Able to lift rolls and boxes weighing up to 75 lbs.
    
  • Able to follow directions.
    
  • Able to organize and prioritize work.
    
  • Works well with others.
